Begin at the Mandurah Visitor
Centre and collect maps for the
famous Giants of Mandurah hunt
and other trails. Follow the clues
to 昀椀nd all 昀椀ve of Thomas Dambo’s
whimsical wooden giants. Relax
on one of the foreshore’s sandy
beaches, or wander the Creery
Wetlands, a haven for birdlife.
Boardwalks and viewing platforms
make it a fantastic spot for
birdwatching, keep an eye out for
the migratory shorebirds that visit
each year.
In the afternoon, enjoy a halfday Murray River Lunch Cruise.
Glide along the historic waterway,
step ashore at Cooper’s Mill on
Coolenup Island, and savour a
three-course meal of fresh local
produce onboard.
As the sun sets, round out your
day with a classic dinner of 昀椀sh
and chips at Cicerello’s Mandurah,
a laid-back favourite right on
the water.
Begin your adventure in
Mandurah with breakfast at Wood
& Stone Café, then make your way
further south to Yalgorup National
Park for birdwatching trails and
views of ancient thrombolites.
In the afternoon, take a Dolphin
Cruise with Mandurah Cruises
and visit the friendly wild dolphins
that live in the waterways. As the
day winds down, check into your
accommodation. Choose from
family-friendly caravan parks,
Mandurah Ocean Marina Chalets,
the stylish Sebel Mandurah, or
Seashells Mandurah. End the
evening with sunset dining and live
music at Boundary Island Brewery.
Day two takes you inland to
the trails town of Dwellingup. Visit
Dwellingup Adventures for gear hire
and explore the trails on foot, by
mountain bike, or kayak the Lane
Poole Reserve. For a slower pace,
linger over lunch at Redgum Wine
Estate, then ride the Hotham Valley
Railway and stroll the Dwellingup
Art Trail. Stay overnight in a cabin,

boutique retreat, or beneath
the stars at Lane Poole Reserve,
and 昀椀nish the day with a hearty
pub meal.
On your 昀椀nal day, head to
Pinjarra. Begin with breakfast at
Café Chérie before visiting Ranger
Red’s Zoo and Conservation Park
for hands-on wildlife encounters.
Enjoy a picnic in Cantwell Park, then
browse the art at the Edenvale
Heritage Precinct and walk the
Pinjarra Suspension Bridge. Wrap
up your Peel escape with sunset
drinks at the historic Exchange
Hotel, overlooking the river.
