Kick off your coastal trip with
a surf at Scarborough Beach.
Beginners can book a lesson with
Scarborough Beach Surf School,
while experienced surfers can
rent gear from Soul Boardstore
and head to Trigg Beach, known
for its consistent waves. If you
prefer, start the day with a swim
at Scarborough Beach Pool.
The leisure pool is ideal for less
experienced swimmers or families.
Enjoy breakfast and coffee at
one of Scarborough's beachfront
cafés before heading to AQWA
where Western Australia's marine
life takes centre stage. For
something different, book their
Glass Bottom Boat Experience or
snorkel with sharks, turtles and 昀椀sh
in the Shipwreck Coast Aquarium.
Make your way to Hillarys Boat
Harbour for a spot of shopping and
a relaxing lunch. Swim in the calm
waters or choose between a range
of water activities from jet skis to
paddleboarding and kayaking with
the team at Ultimate Watersports
Hillarys. Round out the day with
sunset cocktails and dinner at The
Breakwater, boasting unbeatable
views from its waterfront deck.
Begin with breakfast at Bert’s in

Continue north for a snorkel at
Mettam’s Pool, where calm waters

On your 昀椀nal morning, travel
north to Yanchep Lagoon for a
snorkel. Clear, shallow waters
reveal octopus, rays, and colourful
marine life. Afterwards, head inland
to Yanchep National Park. Stroll
among koalas, explore bush trails,
take a tour of the caves and pause
for lunch at Yanchep Inn, although
beware of the cheeky kookaburras
who may try to steal a chip.
Make your way back down the
coast to The Marina Mindarie for
a crisp refreshing pint and hearty
meal at Indian Ocean Brewing
Company. Waterfront views provide
the perfect 昀椀nale to your Sunset
Coast Escape.
