The iconic Coogee Beach
has been recognised as one of
Australia’s best, boasting close
to four kilometres of white sand
and pristine turquoise waters.
Explore below the water’s surface
at the northern end of the beach,
snorkelling the Coogee Maritime
Trail. The circular diving trail will get
you up close and personal with
remains of the Omeo Shipwreck, as
well as local marine life.
Treat the family to a day of
scream-inducing rollercoasters and
thrilling water slides at Adventure
World. The theme park has
something for everyone, from the
colourful under-six rides of Dragon’s
Kingdom, to the twisting, turning
water slides of Water Mountain, and
even a Grand Prix race track.
Learn about local conservation
and be inspired by the hard-working
veterinarians, veterinary nurses and
volunteers of WA Wildlife. Here, you’ll
get up close and personal with some
of Perth’s most elusive animals.
Your visit starts with a behindthe-scenes tour of the WA Wildlife
Hospital, before you’ll venture
through the fauna discovery area
and enjoy close encounters with
dingoes, koalas, wombats, emus,
reptiles, possums, and more. For
an after-dark experience, join a
nighttime tour to learn more about
native nocturnal species.
Cool down at Cockburn Ice
Arena, Perth’s largest ice-skating
rink. Take a few turns around the
rink, or sign up for a lesson and
learn some new skills. The arena is
also home to Cabin 401 Bar & Grill,
serving wings, burgers and beer.
